Answer of the Day
For now, this bell work will be completed on paper. Check back for possible digital options!
1. Students record the date and the "answer of the day" on their sheet. (Answers of the day will almost always be related to the topic students are currently studying.)
2. Students then use their resources, such as notes, downloaded texts, assignments, and searching the Internet to come up with a SPECIFIC QUESTION that the answer of the day would answer.
This activity helps students think a bit differently since normal they are the ones to answer the questions. Asking specific and researchable questions is one of the foundations of scientific inquiry. Students will also realize that there isn't just one correct question to their answer!
